Director Luca Guadagnino Stars Daniel Craig, Drew Starkey & Jason Schwartzman
Luca Guagagnino is an Italian film director and producer. He's also worked as a designer and has directed an opera. He directed the Oscar nominated Call My By Your Name which first brought him international recognition and Challengers. His films are characterised by their emotional complexity, eroticism, and lavish visuals.
Bringing Daniel Craig (James Bond) onto the Queer project has given it a leverage that a production like this, an adaptation of William Burroughs' unfinished novel of the same name would otherwise lack. And because it's such a dramatic role reversal, Craig will feature in the Awards season for sure. He's already been nominated for a Golden Globe.
