About the Event

Every Little Thing Film Trailer HERE

93 Min All Ages. Dir: Sally Aitkin

Stars: Terry Maeser as herself alongside hummingbirds Cactus, Wasabi, The Sidney Twins, Sugar Baby, the Wild Boys, Jimmy and every other little thing.

Directed by Australian Sally Aitkin, this international co-production is a beautifully filmed and moving documentary about how LA resident Terry Masear, an author and wild re-habber, cares for the many hummingbirds who fall foul of the environment, especially in nesting season.

It quickly evolves into something much bigger. We discover Maeser's back story, we learn the names of the birds she comes to care for, what their chances of survival are and start to hope they make it. Through Terry's eyes, each bird becomes memorable, mighty and heroic. Her compassion and empathy serves as a reminder that grace can be found in the small acts of kindness and the tiniest of creatures.
